The "ski freestyle" of 20 years ago (today called "Oldschooler") has now a new name.
"Newschoolers" are the today’s freestylers performing breathtaking jumps and turns with a particular "style". In Val Gardena the "Newschoolers" can be seen at the Laurin Snow Park on the Alpe di Siusi.
In the winter season 2007/2008 the Laurin Snow Park was given an award as the most beautiful snow park in Italy. Along the slope you’ll find jumps and slites. At the bottom of the slope there are also two 20 m flat jumps. You’ll find a half pipe and a quarter wall as well. The snow park is suitable also for snowboarders.
