Santa Cristina is a true gem of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dolomites and the ideal holiday destination for those seeking tranquillity, such as active holidaymakers, couples, and families.
With nearly 2000 inhabitants, Santa Cristina is the smallest alpine village of Val Gardena. It lies at an altitude of 1,428 m. The neighbouring villages of Ortisei and Selva are only a few kilometres away. Alpenhotel Plaza is located right in the town centre. This provides an excellent connection to the bus and lift facilities. You can be on the slopes in just 200m. Those who aren’t fans of alpine sports can also take a leisurely stroll through the village street, a reduced-traffic area, which is just a minute's walk from our home. You will find everything from sportswear to genuine South Tyrolean woodcarvings in the small shops that line the streets here.

How to get to Santa Cristina in Val Gardena
Take the A22 Brennero motorway exit towards Chiusa/ Val Gardena (German: Klausen / Gröden). From there, it’s about another 20 km to Santa Cristina via the regional road.
